Hosting
Controller is a product of Advanced Communications - a
well known firm that conceives, creates, matures and launches
high tech start ups having its head office in Los Angeles,
CA, USA. Hosting Controlled development was started in
1997. Over ten years of development experience and innovation
delivers unmatched functionality, flexible features, and
robustness user-interface.
All through its life cycle, Hosting Controller has been
leading innovation and has set milestones and examples
for the competition. In 1999, this was the only commercially
available product for the then nascent hosting on Windows
servers.
During these ten years, the product has gone through
tremendous engineering effort that was purely driven
by customers telling us what they wanted in the product.
Slowly but steadily development took pace releasing
one version after another, adding new features, making
it more stable and broadening existing service horizons
of web hosts. It was initially released with a very
modest set of features and was running on Windows NT.
Over the last four years we have gone through many new
releases, patches, bug fixes, version roll backs and
missed deadlines.

| History |
- Hosting Controller started in 1998 as a Windows
control panel. The product was released with
minimal functionality.
- Three years later, a better version was released
in year 2001 with many new features.
- In 2003, a multilingual version of the product
was released. The architecture of the product
was slightly improved.
- In Jan 2007, the long awaited release of Hosting
Controller named HC 7 was finally released with
both Windows and Linux support. The latest version
is available in both Windows and Linux and introduces
a new concept in web hosting i.e. of making
load balanced clusters of hosted servers. In
addition to this HC now uses latest .NET framework,
supports tens of third party applications and
comes with full scale billing.
- In June 2008 final release of this version
is set to be launched with enhanced features.
It will include complete support for MS-Exchange,
IIS7, Windows 2008 and 64bit OS.
