Target Audience

This document is intended for those who are running their own hosting business and they need their services to be synchronized with the latest build/version of HC.

Why Upgrade?

Hosting Controller releases Windows Build02/Linux Build 02. These builds provide fixes for issues which were reported in past few weeks. It is recommended to update HC installation on your machines. Visit Service Pack section to download latest builds.

Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 must be installed on your HC server(s) prior to this installation. Moreover, this build removes .NET mappings from the root of the web server as it is not recommended to have .NET mappings on the root of the web server.

Enhancements and Fixes

This build slots in following enhancements and fixes:

Build No 8.00.0002: (Windows)

Enhancements

ü Database Manager:

o It displays db size in the panel

o It introduces db login connectivity feature inside the panel

o It downloads db backup file on local drive

o Shrink db

o It offers backup/restore check history inside panel

ü HC Delivery Protocol:

o It allows you to use SMTP Mail Server for HC mail activity

ü Plan Manager:

o It provides option to enable/disable over usage on plan manager

ü Enterprise Module:

o It allows you to create mailbox databases from HC panel

o It allows you to add email alias of different mail domain

ü Bug Fixed: Extra privacy price is charged while registering domain in case of Enom

ü Bug Fixed: HC Scheduled email

ü Bug Fixed: FAX number field is no longer mandatory in user profile
