- Hosting Controller Version 1.4 Beta 3 Released |
Hosting
Controller v.1.4 Beta 3 has been released
with many new features and better interface
design. Bugs found in v.1.3 are also removed
in this version.
In v.1.4, changes are made to Auto Signup
feature, you may enable it again and can
use safely. In tshis version, IIS Application
Protection level is changed from Low (IIS
Process) to Medium (Pooled), this will
solve the high memory & processor
usage problem of inetinfo.exe. Also anonymous
user was not being setup properly, this
issue is also been solved.

| Disk Quota Management
|
Disk Quota Management was the most
required feature since version 1.2.
You can now allocate and manage disk
quota using Hosting Controller. This
feature is supported only for systems
running Windows 2000.

| Known Issues |
Disk Quota management will
not work for the account created with
previous versions of Hosting Controller.
You can set Disk Quota only for the
accounts which are created through Hosting
Controller v.1.4 Beta 3.

| WebAlizer Stats Server
Support |
Hosting Controller was previously supporting
MediaHouse and Webtrends stats server
only, now support for WebAlizer statistics
server is also included. WebAlizer stats
server is free and is shipped with the
Hosting Controller installer.

| ASPFusion Integration |
ASPFusion is a suite of ASP components
bundled with a "Security Box"
and an Administrator interface that
makes all components secured for shared
hosting and allows the administrator
to turn component access on/off on a
per website basis. Hosting Controller
now offers seamless integration with
ASPFusion .

| Custom Error Pages |
Hosting Controller v.1.4 Beta 3 offers
the ability to set custom error pages
at web site level.
NOTE: Hosting Controller v.1.4
Beta 3 need fresh install to work properly.
Please take your database backup, uninstall
previous version and install the new
version. Do not use the upgrade feature
in the installer.
