The version 1.1 of hosting controller
includes number of new options and bug
fixes. The final version will be released
after performing complete beta testing
. You should test this version on demo
servers rather then on live servers, Advanced
Communications does not take any responsibility
of any loss or damage of data on use of
the version.

| Remote Administration |
The New version allows to keep mail and
DNS servers on remote system, you can
configure Hosting Controller to maintain
both mail and DNS on a separate box, In
this case you need to run the Hosting
Controller secondary server installer
on the system , and the hosting controller
DCOM service must be running on servers
hosting the mail and DNS servers On the
primary server you need to set the configuration
of Hosting Controller such that it points
to both mail and DNS server on remote
machine the IP address of both mail and
DNS server is added to the configuration
of the primary server in this case .

| Bind DNS Support |
Hosting Controller now supports
both bind 8x and bind 4x DNS Server ,
in addition to MS DNS server.

| VOPMail Support |
Support for VOP Mail server has been
added in this version of Hosting Controller,
so in addition to IMail, MailMax and Post.Office
, Hosting Controller also support VOP
Mail Server.

| Online Transaction |
Hosting Controller now allows the resellers
and web admins to make on line purchase
of additional quota for web sites , ftp
, accounts etc by performing online transactions
at both Cyber Cash and Link Point.

| NTFS Administration |
Hosting Controller now provides an NTFS
permissions interface to users to alter
the permissions on their ftp root folders.

| FrontPage Administration |
You can now install front page server
extensions on new site creation ,and later
can manage the settings of this front
page server extensions using the front
page administration interface.

| SQL Server Administration |
You can now create SQL server database
and login on local and remote servers
, you can also backup and restore the
database files.
A host of other options have also been
added to version 1.1.
