Hosting Controller introduces dedicated SSL to its HC8 control panel to allow full automation of SSL Certificate application and installation processes - an industry first for hosting management control panels

Portsmouth, NH & Vancouver, Canada – 09 March 2010 – SSL provider GlobalSign (www.globalsign.com) and hosting automation software vendor Hosting Controller (http://www.hostingcontroller.com), today announced the integration of SSL ordering and installation through Hosting Controller’s control panel, enabling dedicated SSL to be activated and resold (and transparently installed) down the chain, from host to reseller to end customer, with ease.

This is the first time Hosting Controller has activated dedicated SSL (unique SSL Certificate for use on a unique website) within its control panel. The new solution allows HC customers to simply create the GlobalSign product plans and pricing, which then become immediately available to their resellers and customers via the control panel, fully automating the application and installation process – a first within the hosting industry. With such a straightforward integration process, the webhosting panel known as HC8, will assist all web hosting companies who wish to adopt SSL Certificates as a value added product within their product portfolios by simplifying the SSL selling and activation process.
